Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

We were blessed to have a white Thanksgiving this year...wonder if we'll get a white Christmas too! Whatever may come, 'tis the season, my favorite time of year...and I think I have passed that sentiment on to my girls! They are so fun right now and really getting into the Christmas spirit! Along with our tradition of decorating the family tree, we started a new tradition this year of making a gingerbread house...That was quite a family experience, and believe it or not, MOST of the candy made it onto the house! Our favorite pasttime though is driving around looking at lights...There is nothing like listening to Christmas music and watching the expressions of awe that light up on the girls' faces...takes me back to when i was a little girl all over again! I am very proud of Lauren who is really starting to understand the concept of giving...She is constantly going through her toys and making piles for children "who may not have things that I have." And even though Meghan is in the "it's all about ME" phase of life, she loves to pretend she is baby Jesus which is really sweet...We have even come up with a little "away in a manger" game! It's definitely the little things like this in life that warm the heart! And in case you're not keeping up, only 11 days of shopping left!!! Oh, and YEA I finally posted my first blog...Hope I can keep it up!!!
