September Madness
And I thought we were always on the go BEFORE we joined the "real world"! Wow...September is flying by and we have been going going going more than ever! Along with Lauren in Kindergarten and Meghan in preschool, so far this month Brian and I went to the Maroon 5 concert with his brother and fiance, Lauren started dance, Cowboys games have begun and Brian and I celebrated our 8th anniversary. Fridays have become my favorite day of the week! Since Lauren is only in school Monday thru Thursday, Friday is our day to sleep in and have pajama day or go out for girl time...Whatever we feel like for that day, which I LOVE! This past Friday, I was in need of a pedicure myself, so I took the girls along and we all got our nails done and then headed to lunch at the bakery, where Nana joined us. Lauren is loving school and making new friends...I am amazed at what all she has been learning just in the first few weeks of school. They are working on learning bible verse Philippians 2: 14-16 and she can recite 14 and 15 with no help, all by herself...and I'm thinking my kid is going to know more verses by memory than I do...It has inspired me to want to learn them along with her. Meghan is really liking her school, too...She still misses Lauren on the days she is home, but the two of us are having lots of fun with our "mommy/meghan" time! Speaking of, Meghan says it's time to go play Elefun...Until next time:)

1st Days of School!!!
Lauren has had a great first two days of Kindergarten!!! The uniform, along with the Hannah Montana messenger bag, just make her look like such a BIG GIRL...Oh, and yes, I survived, too! I was very teary for the first 24 hours, but I am at such peace with the school, and her teacher, which helps tremendously! Even though I feel as if we have taken that first step in sending her into the "real world", I know she is in a good place surrounded by such loving people. Meghan also started school at her new preschool today and loved it! She has been very apprehensive about it up until this morning...But as soon as we got there, she gave me a kiss and walked right on in as if it were no big deal! Can't believe how my girls are growing!!!
