Our summer got off to a great start this year...Ali, Jason and Chase drove in on the last day of school and spent a few days here with us. My youngest baby sis, Emi, and her boyfriend Chris, were here as well...AND my brother, Ryan, aka Bubby, flew in all the way from Yap! We had an absolute blast just hanging out with the family! We ate, we swam, we took Chase to the zoo, we ate...oh wait, I already said that one! I can't help but mention the food because that's always one of the bonuses with being around my sister and Jason. They love to cook, and so we always get to eat some pretty yummy stuff! While they were here, we also had a family reunion for my dad's side of the family at Rio Mambo...SO much fun! It was great seeing all of us together like that...it had been WAY too long! That same evening, my auntie Claudia and uncle Ray (from my mom's side) drove in from Alabama...this was their first time to meet Chase in person, so we had a great time cooking out and visiting with them. The visits with my sister are never long enough, but it just makes me cherish those times that we have together even more. I love my family!!
