I am WAY behind on my blog page...and even though we are now in October, I could not catch up without including our trip to Colorado in August. It was such a great trip...and what made it even better was that we were able to meet my sister, Jason & my adorable little nephew, Chase. Jason had a training seminar in Denver, so instead of us driving to Iowa, we all decided to have a little mini-vacation there! I was excited to see Colorado in the summer since it's usually covered in snow when we go on our annual ski trips. We did some fun things in Denver with Ali & her family, and then the day before we headed home, me, Brian and the girls drove into Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We ended up going on an impromptu 2-mile hike, which the girls did in flip-flops I might add, and were quite the little troopers! I love making memories and am so thankful for this sweet family of mine that I get to make memories with:-)
